At the Edge, safety is always our primary concern and in 2020 that is no exception. Over lockdown, the Edge family consisting of Rob, Joan, Joe, Caite and Pete Gaston worked tirelessly to make every activity and area safe for both staff & customers. We took the decision before the lockdown was lifted to not install the Waterpark as we feel it cannot be operated in a manner that protects staff and customers as we have been told the virus can survive on PVC for up to three days, and all hand holds and touch points would need to be disinfected after each use, as a minimum, no matter how few people are on it.

This year we feel that Safety before Profit is the only way to operate any activity centre.

Families and small groups are booked into individual changing rooms which are fully disinfected with fogging pumps before each use. All equipment is also fogged with disinfectant and wetsuits and buoyancy aids are fully sanitised and dried before use.
